Crime Scene Reports

Directions: You will act as the Crime Scene Investigator and read through the following crime
description. After reading you will fill out the crime scene report on the following page.

Description:
A crime was called into the dispatcher at 8:09 p.m. by Linda Watson, age 57. Ms.
Watson stated she heard gunshots. Upon arrival, police found a body lying on the
front porch of 1278 Cardinal Street in Lincoln, Oklahoma. The body was identified as
31 year old Mark Fort who lived at 1902 Williamsburg Road in Montgomery,
Oklahoma. He was shot once in the stomach. The following evidence was collected:
 Four bullet shells
 A silver earring
 A two inch piece of red thread
There was also a footprint of a female’s shoe, size eight, present two feet away from
the body. After an interview with Ms. Watson, she revealed to police she saw a 2001
Ford Focus with the Kansas License Plate 7KG4B2 leaving the scene.
