Riesenberg Introduction
My name is Cindy Riesenberg. I am thrilled to be a guidance counselor here at Hereford High School.
I grew up in Amarillo, Tx and was a member of the first graduating class of Randall High School. I received a BA in and spent many years exploring that field. I became a teacher in 2002. During my years in the classroom I taught a little bit of everything. I was a speech and debate coach for 5 years and then I chose to turn my attention to special education. I worked with the special needs population and English Language Learners. After 13 years, I realized that I wanted to spend my time mentoring struggling students, and I wanted to see all of our students find their path.
I received my Masters of Arts in Education with Guidance Counseling in 2018 from Angelo State University. I love my role in encouraging all students to strive for their personal best. I am delighted to be working with the students, teachers, administrators, and parents whom I so highly regard.
My spare time is spent with my two daughters ages 11 and 13. I love to travel, sing and I am learning the ukulele. It is never too late to learn something new.
I am here for you as students, parents and wonderful staff. I am passionate about helping people find fulfillment and excitement on their journey. I am available for listening, talking, helping, and so much more. Please feel free to contact me for any request for you and your children. I want to strive to always do what is best for our students.
