About Me

Hello!  My name is Hutton Sharp, and I teach English at Hereford High School.  My goal is to empower our students to read, write, and think with excellence so that they can change the world.

I traveled on something of a winding road to reach this point, but I am proud and grateful to have the opportunity to teach in Hereford.  I believe that all students can learn, and in my classroom all students will.  Together we are going to make this year a memorable one.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from West Texas A&M University in 2015 and a Master of Arts in Theology from Denver Seminary in 2018.  My master's thesis on divine simplicity is published in the Denver Seminary Library.

I was born and raised in Amarillo, and my wife and I currently live in Canyon with our dog, Bruce Wayne.

When I'm not teaching I love reading, writing, playing video games, talking theology with friends, serving at my church, and most of all, spending quality time with my wife.
