HHS Sports Medicine and Athletic Training
My name is Sarah Baulch and I am the Athletic Trainer and Sports Medicine teacher for Hereford ISD. This is my 7th working in HISD and my 13th year overall. As HISD's Athletic Trainer, I get to work with all athletes grade 7-12; and am responsible for injury prevention, immediate care and treatment of injuries, and rehab and return to play. I also teach Sports Medicine 1 and 2 to interested students.
In addition, I serve as the FCA High School Huddle Coach for Hereford High.
I grew up here in Hereford, and then graduated from Permian High School in Odessa in 2003. I hold my bachelors degree in Exercise Science from ACU (2007), and my master's in Rehab Science from California University of Pennsylvania (2013).
I am also certified as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Certified Weightlifting Performance Coach (CWPC) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) It's my goal to always be learning something new that will benefit myself, or my students.
