Graduation Plans

Students and Parents–

Below you will find the Foundation High School Graduation Program.  This plan details specific graduation requirements for the 3 plans.

  • Foundation Only,
  • Foundation with Endorsements, and
  • Distinguished

To graduate with an Endorsement or Distinguished, a student must complete the following math courses at a MINIMUM:

  1. Algebra 1,
  2. Geometry,
  3. Math Models, and
  4. Algebra 2 at a minimum.
There are other upper level math courses such as Intermediate Algebra, Pre-Cal, and Calculus that students with the ability and drive can choose to take.

Please note:  The consequences for not taking Algebra 2 or other upper level math courses can impact your college admissions at a 4-year university, financial aid, and certain grants such as the TEXAS grant program and the Texas Education Agency Opportunity Grant Program.

It is important to remember this as you plan ahead in your course selections.

We look forward to helping you plan your future here at HHS.
