Parents are welcome to attend! But not mandatory.
💻 Chromebooks will NOT be distributed during orientation. Students will receive their Chromebooks on Thursday, August 20, during their English class.
We know starting high school is a BIG milestone, and we can’t wait to help our newest Whitefaces get comfortable, get connected, and get excited for an amazing year!

📣 HHS FAMILIES — NEW BELL SCHEDULE FOR 2026–2027!
We are excited to welcome our students back!
Our updated bell schedule was designed with one primary goal: MAXIMIZE STUDENT LEARNING & CLASSROOM TIME
The schedule also allows us to accommodate updated athletic schedules and provide appropriate coverage for staff shared between HHS, athletics, and Hereford Junior High.
⏰ Important: The biggest change to note is our start time. 1st Period begins at 8:05 a.m.
📚 Tutorials will be available BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL. Tutorials are always available to students and are optional unless a student does not meet established academic guidelines.
🍽️ Upperclassman Open Lunch: 11:45 AM–12:25 PM Lunch is only ONE minute shorter than last year and begins 13 minutes earlier.
🍽️ Freshman Closed Lunch: 11:35- 12:25.
🥣 NEW: FREE SECOND BREAKFAST! Multiple stations will be available throughout our main buildings, the field house, and gyms- available between 1st and 2nd period
🥤 NEW: ALL-DAY SNACK BAR! Students will be able to purchase snacks and drinks throughout the day. We will continue adding and adjusting options based on student interest and what we are able to provide.
We know changes take some adjustment, and we appreciate our students and families working with us as we begin another great year at HHS.

Parents and guardians, please log in to **Skyward Family Access** and complete your student's online registration **as soon as possible**.
⏰ **Don't wait!** Registering early helps ensure your student is scheduled into the classes they want **before sections fill up**. Registration **must be completed before school begins on August 19.**

The deadline to meet all Dual Credit requirements is **July 31!**
To remain enrolled in your Dual Credit courses, students must attend a parent meeting and pass the required TSI exam. Students who do not meet these requirements will be dropped from their Dual Credit classes.
⚠️ TSI testing is not available at Hereford High School during the summer. Testing is available through Hereford Amarillo College. Please review the general information provided in the flyer and contact Hereford Amarillo College directly to obtain the most up-to-date testing schedules, hours, and requirements.

All students testing at Hereford High School will enter through the back doors by the teacher parking lot.
